Terms of Service

By creating an account or using GreenPing ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

GreenPing provides hosted status pages that allow you to communicate your service availability to your customers. The Service includes a dashboard for managing status pages, components, and incidents, as well as public-facing status pages accessible to anyone.

GreenPing is a communication tool, not a monitoring service. We are not responsible for detecting outages in your infrastructure — only for displaying the status information you provide.

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Send spam, phishing, or misleading communications through subscriber notifications
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, or harmful
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Use the Service for any purpose other than hosting status pages

Free plan: Available at no cost with the limitations described on our pricing page. Free plans include a "Powered by GreenPing" badge on public status pages.

Paid plans: Billed monthly through Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

Price changes: We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be grandfathered at their current rate for at least 12 months after any price increase.

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Public status pages are edge-cached and served from CDN for maximum reliability — they remain online even if our backend experiences issues.

You own all content you create through the Service (status pages, incidents, component names, etc.). We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to host, cache, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with prior notice where possible. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

GreenPing is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
